Gateway setup · one-time

Enable Modbus on your GoodWe inverter

A quick setup in the GoodWe SolarGo app. Do this once, before you connect your Sundime Gateway.

For accepted Sundime beta homes only Follow this guide only after Sundime has confirmed the exact system is compatible. Change only the two communications switches shown here. Do not alter country, grid, export, protection, battery or other installer settings.

Before you start

  • 📱Install GoodWe “SolarGo” from the App Store or Google Play (skip if your installer already set it up).
  • 🔑Have your User password ready. Ask your installer for it — it's the User password, not the Installer one.
  • 📶Stand next to the inverter. This uses Bluetooth, so you need to be within a few metres of it.
  1. 1

    Open SolarGo and choose Bluetooth

On the Device List screen, make sure the Bluetooth tab is selected — not WLAN. If nothing appears, tap Search Device while standing near the inverter.
