App vs Gateway

The app is where you set up, control and review. The Gateway does the continuous work, and keeps running when you close the app.

If your internet drops, the Gateway and inverter keep running the existing plan. Remote access, new plan data and some forecast updates wait until it returns.

What you need to connect a real home

  • A private-beta place and a Sundime Gateway.
  • A confirmed battery system — GoodWe ESA today, more brands to follow.
  • A single-phase setup, or an assessed dual-phase GoodWe ESA home.
  • A home network that reaches the Gateway and battery.
  • A compatible iPhone or Android phone.

Privacy and accounts

The demo needs no account and no network. Live setup begins locally, with physical proof at the Gateway. Account and remote-access options are explained in the Privacy Policy.
