GoodWe battery not charging or supplying the home?

A working battery may wait because it is full, saving energy for later, following a time set in its app, or has no spare solar. Timing matters more than the percentage alone.

Works with GoodWe ESA batteries today. More brands to follow.

Why a working battery may wait

Battery level

It is already full—or saving some energy

It may stop charging when full, or hold a set amount in reserve.

Solar

The home is using the available solar

Many systems power the home first, then send what's left to the battery.

Timing

Its current plan says to wait

A time set in the battery app, your electricity company or another service may be in control.

Household use

The home needs more power right now

The grid covers whatever the battery can't supply at once.

What to look at in the app

  • The battery percentage and whether it says charging, waiting or supplying the home.
  • The time of day and whether the same pattern happens regularly.
  • Any charging times or saved-energy level already set.
  • Whether your electricity company or another app currently controls the battery.
  • Any fault message shown by the GoodWe app.
If the system itself is not working Use the support that came with your battery. Sundime is not a repair or fault-diagnosis service.

Can Sundime help?

Sundime may help when the GoodWe system works but its daily timing doesn't suit the home's prices, expected solar or routine. It makes a fresh plan each day instead of fixed times you keep changing.
